Thornapple Arts Council Logo Contest for 14th Annual Art Auction The Thornapple Arts Council of Barry County announces its 14th Annual Art Auction, Tickling Your Senses, on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Walldorff Brewpub & Bistro in downtown Hastings. The Thornapple Arts Council (TAC) is sponsoring a logo contest for the Art Auction that will represent the theme of "Tickling Your Senses". The logo will be used on all promotional materials including posters, postcards, print ads, and on the TACís website. The logo must be created in color and be able to be reproduced in black and white. All artwork must be original, no facsimiles or clip art. Be as creative as you like, however we ask that contestants please submit all entries in a commonly used graphic format that is HTML compatible (e.g., GIF, JPEG, etc. or able to be scanned). The winning logo should be simple enough to be reproduced in a multiple ways: small icon, black-and-white image, low resolution, 2-color, etc. Logo must contain the words "14th Annual Art Auction, Tickling Your Senses". The winner's artwork will become the property of the TAC Art Auction Committee and will be used in all promotional materials created by the TAC. The winner's original artwork will be auctioned off during the evening of the event and the artist will receive 30% of the auction purchase price.
